1. When did you start dancing?
My mother would complain that I started dancing in the womb, but I started taking ballet at the age of 3.
2. What is your favorite thing to do in Austin?
Try new restaurants. I'm a foodie!
4. Who is your inspiration?
Goodness, so many people - Right now, Chi Chi and Jackie Roese have inspired me. These women can see the gifts in others (especially other women) and lift them up. I'm not sure why women tear each other up, we have such low self esteems of ourselves to start. I'm inspired by any woman that has enough confidence to be able to see the positive in others and help them achieve their goals. It isn't common, but it should be.
5. What are some of your non-dancing hobbies?
Golf, Rowing, and triathlons.
6. What is your favorite dance-related experience?
I used to be a part of a song/performance group at Church and we would do partner dancing. I think I enjoyed it because I was able to dance at a Baptist Church, so not only was it fun, but it was also against the 'rules' so I felt like a rebel.
7. Favorite Show/Movie/Book:
TV Show: Scandal, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones
Movie: When Harry Met Sally, The Internship, all the Die Hard movies
Book: Lime Green
8. Fun fact about you?
I can flip people off with my middle toes.
9. You are taking a dance class - what style can we find you in first?
10. Favorite Quote and why?
This definitely changes through the periods of my life. Right now, "If Plan A didn't work, the alphabet has 25 more letters. Stay Cool"
